Lily Pond

This painting was inspired by a pan full of waterlilies that we came across behind the dunes where we were staying for our annual break up the north coast of KZN, South Africa.

I painted this with a palette knife. This gives the painting a lovely texture and so much life. The days was still and the water lilies were out in full bloom. It was a special thing to see.
