Travelling through the northern Kruger Park at sunset one evening in Autumn, the glorious colours of the light, reflecting on the already beautiful Mopani leaves, made a beautiful scene. The peacefulness of the moment, with just a small rustle in the leaves, was unforgettable and I just had to paint it.
